New Drugstore Lipsticks from Hawaii

In my recent Hawaii Walmart Drugstore video, I did show some lipsticks purchased. However, I didn't swatch them on camera as I wanted to save them to photograph for my blog!While in Hawaii I purchased 2 L'Oreal Paris Colour Riche Lipcolour Lipsticks, 2 Revlon Super Lustorous Lipsticks and a Wet'n'Wild Mega Last Liquid LipstickL'Oreal Paris Colour Riche Lipcolour in 175 I Pink You're Cute and 165 Tickled Pink - $5.97 eachAs you can see, the packaging is completely gold, which I find very eye-catching and luxe. I love how they have "L'OREAL" imprinted on the bullets too! I think the lipsticks look more expensive than they are.I didn't swatch either of these in-store as they had no testers available and if I could have swatched them I probably would have only purhcased I Pink You're Cute (right swatch). Ticked Pink (left swatch) is a tad too dark for my liking and has a frost to is that I'm not really a fan of. It is more of a mauve than a pink, it could even pass as a purple. I feel as though the frost limits the lipstick to a special occasion use, whereas if the finish was a Satin or Cream it would definitely be more wearable as an every day colour. However, I Pink You're Cute is totally me! I think it would be the perfect shade for Spring and Summer as it is a bright colourful lipstick without being too bold.

The consistancy of the lipsticks is very smooth and they feel very moisturising. in Australia they retail for around $22 each. The pigmentation is quite nice, they go on quite sheer but are build-able.Wet'nWild Mega Last Liquid Lipstick in Click On My Hyperpink - $2.95 from WalmartThe packaging is very simple, quite typical of any Liquid Lip Colour range. It is nice that the product shows through the tube and for $2.95 who couldn't afford to add this to their collection?On first thoughts, I was under the impression that the Mega Last Liquid Lipstick was a dupe for the Australis Velour Lips in MAL-I-BOO - however when I swatched them next to eachother I can clearly see that this is not the case with MAL-I-BOO on the left and Click On My Hyperpink on the right! Wet'n'Wild is far more lighter and fluro than MAL-I-BOO. The consistancy is similar as they are both extremely pigmented and dry matte with the ability of "not moving" from your lips, meaning they are SUPER long lasting. The downfall is that they will stain your lips like crazy! Revlon Super Lustorous Lipsticks in Fuschia Fusion (left) and Cherries in the Snow (right) $5.97 eachThe packacking of the Super Lustorous Lipsticks is very classic, black with gold accents. Revlon aren't one to stray from the clasic look.The first thing that I notice about the two Revlon lipsticks is are that they are very similar. I didn't purchase them at the same time and that's how this happened! Fuschia Fusion is a very bright blue-based fuschia - almost red, with a blue flash to it - almost like a blue "frost" which is unlike any lipstick I've seen before. I've been feeling more confident in experimenting with my makeup and different looks lately so I'm very excited to create a different look to what I would normally wear. I just love the rasberry red of Cherries In The Snow - I think it will look fabulous with my skin tone and hair colour! It is a very bright red lipstick and I'm sure when I wear it out of the house I will turn heads. The red, although very bright, is a blue based red, a "cool" toned red. Both of these colours will make your teeth look extra white which is a bonus!The formula of these lipsticks is simply stunning, they glide on so smoothly and are so sigmented - I was extremely impressed! I haven't worn these lipsticks long-term but I have a feeling they will stain your lips. These lipsticks also retail for roughly $22 each here in Australia.
