Too Faced Natural at Night Palette
In my most recent video I film my First Impressions on the Hello Flawless Foundation by Benefit. I am however wearing some brand spanking new eyeshadows which I purchased in Hawaii for my Honeymoon that I wanted to share the swatches with you! (as well as the rest of the makeup that was on my face.) There will be a Chit Chat Get Ready With me coming for the look, but just to keep you entertained I thought this would be a cool way of sharing the product details with you :)The Too Faced Natural at Night Palette comes with the standard (well, standard for Too Faced little palettes!) 9 Shadows, with the first 3 to the left being much larger than the remaining 6. I can safely say the pigmentation is beautiful, the eyeshadows are creamy and buttery, just what you would expect for the $36US at Sephora. I also liked that it did have a great selection of light, medium and dark tones to work with. The idea behind the palette is to work horizontally with three of the colours, for example you would use Full Moon as the brow highlight, Nightcap on the lid and Coco Star on the lash line and outer V for more definition. I do like this concept and the palette does actually come with cards and pictured demonstrating how to create the looks, however I do prefer to do my own thing and play around myself! As I am a Shimmery kind of girl, of course my fave colours would be Full Moon, After Hours and Night Cap - it's obvious that these colours sold the palette to me. I'll admit it - shimmery beige/ champagne colours make me weak at the knees! I am drawn towards neutral palettes but I like that this one has the olive colours in Moonstone and Night Fever, I didn't quite have these colours in my collection.Another point about this palette is that it can quite obviously be used for day time use as well - you can definitely limit the darker colours used and not use a black eyeliner which will make your eye look much more "day- appropriate".In the look below I used as many colours as I could from the palette for my first go (you don't have to use this many, I was just playing around :)
♥ Nightcap in the crease/ transitional colour ♥ Cocoa Star on the outer V and lower lash line ♥ Moonstone on the outer half of the lid ♥ Nightlight on the inner corner ♥ Eclipse to deepen up the outer V ♥ Night Fever for lower lash line and to deepen the outer V ♥ Spotlight on the brow bone highlight
