Makeup Geek Eyeshadow Palette and Swatches
My most recent Youtube video was a Makeup Geek Haul which included beautiful pigments and eyeshadows. I wanted to do a blog post in collaboration with the video to show you the swatches of the eyeshadows I chose for my Z Palette, just so you can see how pretty/amazing/pigmented/beautiful they are :DI chose 28 MUG Eyeshadows to fill my Large Z Palette. Let me warn you; Choosing only 28 eyeshadows from the Makeup Geek Store is not an easy task. this did take some time and looking at many, many swatches! There are so many beautiful colours it was very difficult - i just wanted them all! I stuck to quite neutral colours with my pickings.Let's start with line one: We have the lightest colours: Ice Queen, Shimma Shimma, Bling, Vanilla Bean, Peach Smoothie, Creme Brûlée and Purely Naked.Line Two we have the warm toned colours: Glam, Cosmo, Mango Tango, Goddess, Frappe, Country Girl Cocoa Bear Line Three I placed the Taupes/ Purples and Burgundys: Cupcake, Unexpected, Twighlight, Sensuous, Burlesque, Bitten and Drama QueenLine Four: Prom Night, Homecoming, Moondust, Pretentious, Mocha and CorruptAnd that's my MUG Eyeshadow Palette! At this point in time I haven't actually used the eyeshadows as I was keeping them in original condition for this post! I have no doubts this will be one of my favourite palettes. I chose mostly neutral colours as they will be more versatile and something I will have for a long time and will continue to come in sue season after season. At $5.99US for each eyeshadow, they are amazing quality and definitely comparable to MAC which are at leaf $10 in MAC Pro Stores in the US. In Australia Eyeshadows in a pan are $26 each. The Z Palette was $20. Overall, a little over the budget but it's nice to customise your palette. The only downside is there is no physical store to see the eyeshadows and swatch them for yourself, however the MUG Online Store has an abundance of perfect swatches which is excellent!I think if you are a professional MUA or Freelance MUA, MUG would be an excellent choose, or even if you're wanting to expand your makeup collection or spoil yourself (like me!) Don't be afraid to try the range!oxo Crystal
