What's in my Festival Bag
I recently spent a day at a festival and thought I would take the chance to show you what I took in my bag for the day.My bag is from MRP. I did get it last year sometime but they always have such great little bags like these which are mostly around $15.Being Summer in Australia at the moment, it is so important to wear sun protection when being outside, especially when you are outside all day, whether its sunny or not. I took the Tripleguard Everyday Sunscreen with me and shared it a few times to my friends who didn't have any on. Slip Slop Slap! (I also wore a hat)Speaking of sun protection, the next thing on my list is sunglasses. These are actually my old sunglasses which are prescription ones. I have had a quick look and I don't think they're available anymore. I wanted to take an old pair in case anything were to happen to them. Again, really important to protect your eyes (and make sure you can see if it's super sunny that day!)When using a smaller clutch or bag I like to take out the few things I need (ID, bank card and cash) and pop them into a small coin purse to they're not floating around in my bag. This Oroton Coin Purse was a Christmas gift from my boss. I couldn't find the exact one however here are some other Oroton Coin Purses.Being a makeup enthusiast, I personally like to be able to "touch up" my makeup if needed. I took my favourite powder with me this day, the Australis Fresh and Flawless. I like this powder because it's super long lasting with my oily skin and it gives great coverage as well. These may look a little random but it is such a great idea if you remember, to pop in some bobby pins and a safety pins. You never know when you're going to need to save someone's outfit with a safety pin or just want to pin your hair back with a bobbyn pin or lend it (and never get it back!) to someone. They don't take up much room and could even be stored in the coin purse!Don't forget to take the lipstick you're wearing! We've all been caught out in the moment we go to the toilet and then check our face afterwards and there's no trace of lipstick on your lips. I don't like to take out my high end lipsticks with me so this Models Prefer Nude Lipstick in Nude was perfect for the occasion.Because I was super organised, I managed to grab the lipgloss I wore over the lipstick and took that with me! This is the ModelCo Lip Lights in Pink Sea Shell. This lipgloss is so perfect to take to any event as it has a handy mirror on the side and a light when you open it.Going with the Lip theme, I always like to include a lip blam just incase my lips become dry and unbareable. The Nivea Lip Butter in Vanilla and Macadamia is my favourite. Although a little awkward to apply and most certainly the wind up blams are perferred, the foruma and smell of this one makes it all worth it.I am a hand cream feign. I put it on after every time I was my hands and have to have it with me. Today was no exception! My favourite is the Soap & Glory Hand Food. While having a great smell, it is also very moisturing without being too greasy or wet and the size is just perfect to throw in your bag.As we were vlogging on the day (you can watch our Vlog from Beer Fest here) my vlogging camera was an essential. This is the Canon IXUS145. I purhcased this one roughly a year ago and it's nice ad compact with a great battery life.A hair tie is pretty much a must. Along the same story line as the bobby pins and safety pin, you never know when you may need one!Band-aids are a MUST! I actually was lucky enough (not) to obtain a blister on the day of this festival and I remember before leaving to put band-aids in my bag but I couldn't find the box at the time! Lucky enough the gentleman at the First Aid tent was there to save me from my sandal. I like to get the Band-Aid Tough Strips as they really stay on the best I've found. Here's just a last little cheeky item we collected from our Festival day. Remember to catch fun moments and visit a photobooth if they have them available! So that wraps up everything in my "Festival Bag". What are your must-have items to take with you on a day out? remember to have loads of fun, drink some water and stay hydrated and be safe and don't lose your friends!oxo Crystal
